- If B.P Has Fallen Or Dehydration Is Severe ;
1. Start I.V. Drip With Large Needle. ( Do Not Give 5% Dextrose In Dehydration ).

- If Stools Are Black Coloured With Pallor And Low B.P., Think Of Bleeding Duodenal Ulcer. Refer Immediately.
- Keep Watch On Signs Of Dehydration - Low B.P., Tachycardia, Sunken Eye Balls, Loss Of Skin Turgor And Thirst.
- Amoebic Dysentry Is Extremely Common In India. So Give Flagyl Or Tinidazole For All Cases Of Dysentry, Flatulence, Indigestion And Intestinal Colics.
